Bronze Nautilus earrings

These are handmade earrings made out of bronze metal clay. on bronze ear wire.  The hanging circle with the nautilis texture is 1" i n diameter.  These are one-of-a-kind earrings made in Joanne Jolly-Kay's studio in Beverly, MA. They was made with bronze metal clay which is textured, cut, formed, and fired in a kiln to burn off the organic binder, leaving the solid bronze metal. Then the metal is polished, with multiple grits of sandpaper or other polishing tools. Then comes the assembly of the pieces with jump rings, clasps, chains, and earring wires.
