Silver r metal clay pendant with 3 parts on 20" sterling silver snake chain. It is a one-of-a-kind necklace. Hand-made in Joanne Jolly-Kay's studio in Beverly, MA. This was made with silver metal clay which is textured, cut, formed, and fired in a kiln to burn off the organic binder. Then the metal is polished, with multiple grits of sandpaper or other polishing tools. Then comes the assembly of the pieces with jump rings, clasps, chains, and earring wires. This piece has copper and sterling jump rings.
