Silver metal clay pendant necklace on 18" sterling chain

Silver metal clay pendant with 2 tier 2.5" long broach on 18" sterling silver snake chain. It is a hand made, one-of-a-kind necklace made in Joanne Jolly-Kay's studio in Beverly, MA.  This was made with silver metal clay which is textured, cut,  formed, and fired in a kiln to burn off the organic binder.  Then the metal is polished, with multiple grits of sandpaper or other polishing tools. Then comes the assembly of the pieces with jump rings, clasps, chains, etc. The silver clay pieces are attached with copper jump rings.
