Silver metal clay bead (1" diam.) necklace with blue crystal beads that hangs down 2" from chain. it's on a 29" Sterling Silver chain. The large silver bead is made by putting about 12 coats of metal clay slip/paint on a clay bisque bead and applying cutouts of metal clay paper. Then it gets fired in a kiln which burns off the organic binder leaving .99 pure silver. Then the silver bead is polished, and put together with other items.
