Red beaded kumihimo necklace with bronze metal clay lobster

Red beaded 20" kumihimo necklace with bronze lobster pendant.  This is a handmade 20" long necklace made using a Japenese form of weaving called Kumihimo.  The bronze lobster is made with bronze metal clay which is molded, textured, cut, formed, and fired in a kiln to burn off the organic binder which leaves the bronze metal. Then the metal is polished, with multiple grits of sandpaper or other polishing tools. Then comes the assembly of the pieces with jump rings, etc. This is a durable and unique and one-of-a kind gift.
