Jenny

Stained glass with photo transfer of Jenny Greenwood's Grave, Reading MA.    17.5 x  14.25.  Jenny was born 2/22/1851 and died 8/4/1862 of measles.  Jenny’s siblings, died as infants, and are buried alongside her.  "SOME OF HER LAST WORDS, “I SEE YOU NOT, MOTHER, FOR DARKNESS AND NIGHT ARE HIDING YOUR DEAR LOVING FACE FRON MY SIGHT, BUT I HEAR YOUR LOW SOBBING, DEAR MOTHER, GOODBYE! THE ANGLES ARE READY TO BEAR ME ON HIGH. I WILL WAIT FOR YOU THERE BUT O,TARRY NOT LONG, LEST GRIEF AT YOUR ABSENCE SHOULD SADDEN MY SONG.”
